The global impact of parks
As a global voice that supports the value and benefits of parks and open spaces, the World Urban Parks (WUP) organization, returns to the face-to-face stage to continue recognizing the important labor that urban parks play in cities.
After 2 years of pandemic, WUP congress returns with strength and announces the official date of the annual event. From November 14 to 18, 2022, Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, will host park professionals, city leaders, and citizens committed to public space.
The World Urban Parks (WUP) in alliance with Asociación Nacional de Parques y Recreación de México (ANPR México), presents for the first time in the Americas WUP Congress, an event that represents the most important effort of the WUP worldwide.
The event shares knowledge and provides a collective voice for all people and organizations involved in green cities, open spaces, recreation, and health.
In addition, the event will allow reflection on urgent problems of urban development, and the contribution to a stable and sustainable development of open urban areas for the benefit of society and the improvement of the quality of life of citizens.
The WUP congress event stands out for their master conferences and international experts, round tables, and workshops, being a space for connection and networking between professionals.
