Dr. Helen Beck
Ph.D. in the Built Environment Landscape and Urban Studies
Dr. Helen Beck recently earned her Ph.D. in the Built Environment (Landscape and Urban Studies) from the University of Washington. Her research focuses on the management of urban public parks and recreation services in the context of chronic homelessness.
With over twenty years of experience as a social policy researcher, Helen has explored a wide range of topics including public space, urban design, public housing, and public health.
