About Mariana:
Mariana Prone has a degree in Tourism. Master in Public Function of Tourism: sustainability and competitiveness and Master in Destination Management and Tourism Companies.

She was director of Tourism Planning for the Province of Salta between 2001-2004, and also participated in different interdisciplinary teams for the development of strategic territorial and tourism plans in her country, Argentina. She is currently Undersecretary of Special Projects in Public Spaces in the Municipality of Salta.

About her experience in Urban Parks, she was in charge, for more than 4 years (2015-2019), of the Coordinating Unit of Urban Parks of the Province of Salta.

She was promoter and co-organizer of the First and Second South American Congress of Urban Parks held in Argentina and Ecuador. In 2019 she founded her consultant Parques de Argentina and in 2020 she wrote the book “#YO SOY EL PARQUE”.
