Juan Carlos Acevedo has 18 years of experience promoting recreational programs in both the United States and Mexico. He is a Lecturer at the University of Illinois and serves as the Superintendent of Marketing and Communications for the Wheeling Park District, a suburb located in the northwest area of Chicago.
He is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) in the United States. He holds a master’s degree in Strategic Management and Marketing and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Recreation, Sport and Tourism at the University of Illinois.
